◦Minimum of 21 years old and not older than 34. If you have paid fire service experience its years of service minus your age. You cannot be older than 32.
◦Birth Certificate or proof of citizenship
◦GED or High School or College Diploma
◦DD-214 for applicants with prior military experience.
For your application to be accepted, you must also provide proof that you have attained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician either through the State of Arkansas Department of Health or through the National Emergency Medical Technician Registry Program or possess one of the following prior to applying:
1.Medical certification or license at a higher level (paramedic, nurse, etc.)
2.12 college credit hours in core curriculum courses (English, Math, Science, Communications, Speech, Journalism or Foreign Language)
3.Firefighter I and Firefighter II certification through IFSAC
4.Accredited Fire Academy certification (NFPA, Pro-Board, etc.)
5.A minimum of two years honorable service in the US Armed Forces including National Guard
