- Get a Bike Rack at your business or property
- Become a Trail Trekker to improve safety and encourage use of the trail system
- Join one of the fun-filled recreation programs provided by Parks & Rec (opportunities exist for all ages)
- Perfect your dog-walking skills (and meet your daily step goal) by volunteering at the animal shelter
- Register for a Garden Plot in a city sponsored Community Garden
- Get your hands dirty with Invasive-Species Removal and native habitat restoration efforts
- Become a Trail Trekker to improve safety and encourage use of the trail system
- Commit to keeping your favorite section of trail or park in pristine condition through the Adopt-a-Park and Adopt-a-Trail programs
- Green your own home through Naturalistic Landscaping

If you're interested in becoming even more involved in the projects and programs offered by the City, you may be a good fit for an internship in the Sustainability Department.
