Fayetteville Dog Parade will be a Howling Good Time
10/26/2011
The fourth annual Fayetteville Holiday Dog Parade will be held this coming Saturday, October 29, at 5:00 p.m. at the Historic Fayetteville Downtown Square.
The theme for this dog fashion competition is a Howl-O-Ween Pet Pageant. This annual event is organized by the University of Arkansas’ Event and Convention (Hospitality) Management students and the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau. The pageant is a great way to show off your dog in their Halloween best! Prizes will be awarded to winners. This event is also a favorite for the many people who come out to see all the great fashions and the precious dogs sporting the outfits in the parade.
All proceeds will benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. To donate or sponsor the event, please contact Shelly Walters at 479-571-4731. Applications to participate in the event can be picked up at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter located at 1640 South Armstrong Avenue or at the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau on the Downtown Square. You may also register when you arrive at the event
