After several months of renovation, the shelter now has new lighting and air filtration, along with an overall facelift. Join staff and volunteers from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. for fun, food, pet care products and tours. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. Bring your pets for a reduced price microchip only $10. The Big Wag Gourmet Bakery, Angel Pet Sitters, Ain't Misbehavin Dog Training, Dog Party USA, the Humane Society of the Ozarks and the 4-H Pet Care Club will be on hand. Tours will be given throughout the day. Bring the whole family including your pet and maybe you'll meet a new best friend. Pet foster parents will be receiving a special goody bag to thank them for opening their hearts and homes during the renovation period. For more information call 444-3456.
