Fayetteville Drake Field has a single runway oriented 16/34 and a system of parallel and connecting taxiways which serve the runway and provide access to the Terminal and other facilities on the airport. The runway is 6,006 feet long and 100 feet wide with a grooved asphalt service. It is equipped with Medium Intensity Runway Lighting System (MIRL) and an Omni-directional Approach Lighting System (ODALS). The pavement has a gross weight load bearing capacity of 70,000 pounds single wheel, 150,000 pounds dual wheel, and 175,000 pounds dual-tandem-wheel main landing gear configuration.
The Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) serving Fayetteville Drake Field is a level 1 facility that is located on the northeast corner of the airport. The tower is operated by RVA, a fully trained and FAA certified air traffic control contractor. All of the towers in Northwest Arkansas are contract towers operated by RVA. The tower operates from 6:00am until 10:00pm daily.
Approach Control is provided by Razorback Approach Control located in Fort Smith. The radar antennae used to track aircraft locally is positioned on the top of Wallen Mountain just east of the airport.
The Fayetteville Drake Field Terminal Building was built in 1980 and expanded in 1996. The lobby area was recently renovated to accommodate the FBO and flight services provider. Additional renovations were made to accommodate a new Part 135 Pilot Training Center, two small retail spaces, and a restaurant. In addition to the Million Air Customer Service Center, Pilot Lounge, Flight Planning Center and Media Room, the following services are available in the Terminal Building:

Million Air is a National and International chain of flight service providers. Million Air Fayetteville is the fuel and line service provider for Fayetteville Drake Field. Their staff of six provides customer service, aircraft parking and hangar services, fuel and line services, and pilot and passenger services from their operation based in the Airport Terminal Building.
SkyVenture Aviation Incorporated provides Flight Training from their operation based in the Airport Terminal Building. SkyVenture is a Cessna Pilot Center which offers single and multi engine aircraft training, including instrument and instructor ratings.
Ross Executive Aviation provides pilot training from their offices in the Terminal Building. Ross Executive is owned and operated by Pat Ross. He operates the training with a 4-place Beechcraft Sport, 4-place Cessna 172, and a 2-place Cessna 150.
Aviation Maintenance Professionals: AMP provides airplane maintenance services. They have five employees and can work on single, twin, reciprocating and turbine aircraft.
Wings Avionics: Wings provides avionics sales and services and installation. Their five employees can repair, install and modify avionics systems on a wide variety of aircraft.
Executive Aviation Services provides air charter services. Executive features two business class aircraft; a Mitsubishi Diamond Jet, and a Beech King Air 200.
