UATV airs on Fayetteville COX Cable channel 2, featuring 24-hour-a-day programming from the University of Arkansas and the Public Broadcasting System. Monday through Friday, UATV airs programs produced by university students, programs produced by journalism department faculty, programs produced by other University of Arkansas departments, and selections of programs of interest to the university and the community from across the nation.
Our mission is education through our programming and our operation. UATV is a living television lab in which Lemke Department students can learn the intricacies of technical directing, camera operations, audio engineering, producing, writing and anchoring. Each weeknight, students anchor live news briefs from our studio and audio booth. We believe that the best way to learn is by doing. At UATV, our students do it all.
