Personal Statement

"I became frustrated with the process and conclusions of city government, so I decided to try it for myself. I also see it as my civic duty to become involved and give back because so many people have sacrificed in the past for us to live as we do now."

Occupation & Education

I have been a Fayetteville resident for 25 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the University of Arkansas and am currently self-employed in the remodeling field.

Married to Jennifer Pinkerton Cook, a native of Fayetteville; Mother, Bonnie Cook, lives in Fayetteville as do in-laws, Mary Snyder and Harold Pinkerton; Hobbies - hiking in the woods and cycling

My Key Issues

• Managing increasing amounts of traffic from outlying suburbs
• Maintaining the viability of Dickson Street and the downtown area
• Improving pedestrian access with better sidewalks, crosswalks, and design criteria

Ward Meeting Schedule

Ward 2 meetings are held approximately every 6-8 weeks - more often when topical issues arise. Meeting dates will be announced at City Council meetings as well as through the city's weekly meeting notice, local papers, the website, etc.
