Personal Statement
“I chose to live in Fayetteville because of the beauty of the landscape, the rich architectural heritage, the wonderful library, the growing trails network, and the wonderful community of engaged citizens who care deeply about our city and our environment. I felt compelled to run for City Council in order to address our lack of adequate public transportation, pedestrian, and cycling infrastructure, the disparity between wages and the cost of living, and the need for safe and energy-efficient housing. I love our City and consider is a great honor to represent the citizens of Ward 1 on the Fayetteville City Council. I strive to be a responsible steward of our natural and capital resources while improving the quality of life for all our residents and visitors. As the third largest city in our State, Fayetteville should be a positive example to help move Arkansas forward. ”
