Family Safety Day is This Saturday!

Come on out to Family Safety Day on Saturday

The City of Fayetteville invites you to Family Safety Day, which will be held this Saturday, July 2, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on the west side of the J.C. Penny location of the Northwest Arkansas Mall.  This event is free to the public and is hosted by our Fayetteville Police Department, which will have several informative and exciting activities for everyone.  This event includes the popular Child Safety Seat Check!

Come on out for Family Safety Day this Saturday and see the Police K9 Demonstration, Police Motorcycle Skills Course Demonstrations, Children’s Bike Rodeo (bring your child’s bike), emergency response team vehicle and equipment display, child safety seat check, child ID cards, and see emergency equipment such as police cars, fire engines, and an ambulance.

Family Safety Day is a great day of enjoyment with an important educational component.  It also coincides with a larger event being hosted by the Northwest Arkansas Mall, which includes concerts at The Amp and a professional fireworks display  sponsored by the Uptown Business Association.
