Transportation Program

The Transportation Program, designed to provide the low-to-moderate, elderly, and disabled residents of Fayetteville a supplemental, alternative form of transportation.  The program is comprised of two sister programs, in hopes of providing a greater service to the community

  • Transit Program | provides one 10-Free Ride Pass per month to each qualifying applicant; provided by Ozark Regional Transit, redeemable for fixed-routes only. 
  • Taxi Program | provides elderly and physically challenged low-to-moderate income City residents five taxi tickets valued at $20 a month.

How do I qualify for the Transportation Program?


To qualify for the Transit Program, prospective participants must:

  • Complete the Transit Program Application
  • Live within the city limits of Fayetteville
  • Fall within the low-to-moderate income guidelines provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
    To qualify for the Taxi Program, prospective participants must:
  • Complete the Taxi Program Application
  • Be physically challenged and/or 62 years of age or older
  • Live within the city limits of Fayetteville
  • Fall within the low-to-moderate income guidelines provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

Taxi Program | Using Your Tickets


Once I'm accepted to the Taxi Program, how do I receive tickets?
Tickets are printed and mailed to each Taxi Program participant by the 25th of the month for the following month's fare. 

How do I use my Taxi Tickets?
Taxi tickets are good for Dynasty Taxi and Tony C's Taxi. Each ticket has a $4.00 cash value. The 2007 Taxi ticket expires December 31, 2007. Coupons may be combined with cash, if neccessary. To arrange your trip call the taxi company.
