Housing Rehabilitation Program

The City of Fayetteville Housing Rehabilitation Program provides housing-related services to qualified, low-to-moderate-income individuals and families in order to preserve and improve the owner-occupied residential homes.

The goal of the Housing Rehabilitation Program of the City of Fayetteville is to create a more livable home environment by providing housing that is safe, secure, accessible, healthy, and energy efficient to low-to-moderate income individuals and families.

The program rehabilitates homes that are below current plumbing, electrical, heating and energy efficiency standards.

Housing Rehabilitation corrections may include:

  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Siding
  • Windows
  • HVAC
  • Roof & Gutters
  • Flooring
  • Lead Paint removal
  • Other Code deficiencies 

 

How do I qualify for the Housing Rehabilitation Program?

To qualify for the Housing Rehabilitation Program, prospective participants must:

  • Owner-occupied residency for at least one year
  • Live within the city limits of Fayetteville
  • Fall within the low-to-moderate income guidelines provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
