2008 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report Available for Public Comment

The 2008 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report will be available for public comment from February 16 through March 17, 2009.  This report is submitted annually as a component of the City of Fayetteville's Community Development Block Grant.  Following is the full public notice.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides a Community Development Block Grant to the City of Fayetteville each year to develop projects and activities to improve housing, public and community facilities, and provide public services principally for low-to-moderate income residents of Fayetteville. Each year the City prepares a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) that includes information concerning funding amounts and resources, activities carried out, and other information. The Report for the 2008 program year will be submitted to HUD on or about March 31, 2009.

The City encourages all of its citizens, especially residents of predominantly low-to-moderate income neighborhoods, minorities and persons with disabilities to comment on the CAPER, comments may be made in writing, by phone, or by e-mail. Comments regarding the CAPER will be accepted from February 16 - March 17, 2009 and all comments will be included in the final report. The Report is available for review at the City Clerk’s Office, in the City Administration Building 113 W. Mountain St. and the Community Resources Offices, in the Community Planning & Engineering Building 125 W. Mountain St. between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
