Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank Receives $2,500 ASPCA Grant

04/24/2013

Ranger’s Pantry has received a $2,500 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).  The grant will be used to purchase dog food to be distributed through Ranger’s Pantry to families in Fayetteville that are struggling to feed their pets.  Since its founding in May of 2010, Ranger’s Pantry has provided over 49,042 lbs of dog food to more than 1,145 dogs in need.  Grants like this and private donations are the only way that Ranger’s Pantry is able to provide pet food for families in need.

Donated pet food can be dropped off at any Fayetteville Fire Station, at the Community Services office at 125 W Mountain, or at All Around Storage located at 2650 City Lake Road. Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to City of Fayetteville Community Services, 113 W Mountain, Fayetteville, AR 72701. Checks should be made out to City of Fayetteville’ and Ranger’s Pantry should be written in the memo line. One hundred percent of all cash donations are used to purchase pet food for the pantry. Many thanks to All Around Storage at 2650 City Lake Road for providing a home to Ranger’s Pantry!
