Fayetteville Forward

What is Fayetteville Forward?

Fayetteville Forward is the City’s initiative to get everyone involved in moving our community forward into a better future for all. There is something for everyone interested in doing their part to make our community the best place to live, work, and play. Fayetteville Forward includes volunteers, neighborhoods, communication and engagement initiatives, and the volunteer-led Fayetteville Forward Action Groups. One catalyst of Fayetteville Forward started with the economic development summit in early 2009 and now consists of the volunteer action groups and the Fayetteville Forward Economic Accountability Council or FFEAC.

What makes Fayetteville Forward different from other programs?

The Fayetteville Forward Action Groups are about economic development through collaboration. It is an opportunity for anyone to get involved in driving economic development in Fayetteville – because we believe everyone has something to contribute. No matter what your interest or your experience – there is probably a place for you in Fayetteville Forward.

What is the City of Fayetteville’s involvement in Fayetteville Forward?

Fayetteville Forward is a City program, started by Mayor Lioneld Jordan with the summit in April 2009. Fayetteville Forward led to the establishment of the Fayetteville Forward Economic Accountability Council (FFEAC) through a Charter from the City.

The City of Fayetteville supports the creation and continuation of the Fayetteville Forward Economic Accountability Council (FFEAC) as a city volunteer organization that organizes, sponsors, and manages projects, initiatives, and ideas that promote economic development for Fayetteville.
