Roundabout Final Asphalt Surface Work to be Conducted on March 29 and March 30
The Roundabout currently under construction at the intersection of North Hills Blvd. and Futrall Dr., which is in the vicinity of Washington Regional Medical Center, will undergo asphalt surface work, weather permitting, on Friday the 29th of March and Saturday the 30th of March.
The City of Fayetteville plans on placing the final asphalt surface for the entire project on Friday March 29th and Saturday March 30th. This construction activity will affect Futrall Dr., Milsap Rd., off ramp of Fulbright Expressway, the newly constructed roundabout, and a portion of North Hills Blvd.
On Saturday, March 30th, the roundabout will be closed to traffic. Motorists nearing the roundabout will be directed around the worksite by signage and flaggers at the points of closure. The closure will be limited to only the time required to pave around the central island of the roundabout.
It is extremely important that the motorists follow the directions of the signs and flaggers as they guide them through the detours.
Access to Washington Regional Medical Center will be available at all times. However all other motorists are encouraged to avoid this area if possible for the two days of paving.
