The 2007 Citizen Survey is complete. The survey, conducted by the University of Arkansas Survey Research Center, is a compilation of Fayetteville citizens’ opinions on issues ranging from the effectiveness of city government to satisfaction with various city services. The Survey Research Center interviewed 392 randomly sampled adult residents of the city, and the interviews took place over the summer in 2007.
The primary objectives of the survey are to examine citizen assessments of the quality of city services provided, determine citizens’ opinions of city goals, learn about citizens’ preferences on growth and development, and investigate how citizens obtain information from the City.
This is the fourth city-wide survey which the city undertakes every other year. The University of Arkansas Survey Research Center has conducted the survey since 2003. The survey cost approximately $25,000.
