Cheryl Partain is City’s New Billing and Collections Manager

11/21/2013

Cheryl Partain is the new City of Fayetteville Billing and Collections Manager.  Cheryl has been the City’s Financial Analyst since 2005.  She has worked in the accounting field for the past 18 years, which included positions as a private business accountant and staff accountant/manager of payroll.  Cheryl states, "I am very pleased to be selected as the City’s Billing and Collections Manager, I look forward to continued service to the public in the Billing and Collections division, and I am pleased to be managing a department loaded with such talented employees."

Cheryl received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas in 1997.  While working as the City’s Financial Analyst for the past eight years, Cheryl was cross-trained in all of the positions within the department, including the Billing and Collections Manager position in which she assisted the manager in supervisory responsibilities as needed.  Cheryl is well-acquainted with the City’s utility billing, revenue, accounting and financial management systems because she worked with them on a daily basis, and she served as a primary team leader in the division and assisted in the implementation of policies and procedures for the division.

The City of Fayetteville is pleased to welcome Cheryl Partain as our new Billing and Collections Manager.
