City’s Recycle Something Videos Receive Additional Awards

The Telly Awards has named The City of Fayetteville Media Services Division as a Bronze winner in the 35th Annual Telly Awards for video work on the Recycle Something media campaign. With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor winning three Bronze Telly Awards.

All three entries submitted by the City of Fayetteville received awards:

"Recycle Something-Imaginary Playground" received an award in the category Commercials - Public Service

"Recycle Something-Imaginary Playground" received an award for Editing

"Recycle Team Six-Extended Version" received an award for Sound/Sound Design

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.  Entries do not compete against each other - rather, entries are judged against a high standard of merit. Only about 25% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.

"The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video," said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. "The accomplishment of the City of Fayetteville’s staff illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production."

"I am proud to be able to work with such an accomplished group of professionals. The national recognition they are receiving for their work is highly deserved," said Fritz Gisler, Director of Media Services for the City of Fayetteville.
