Fayetteville Public Library Hosting Ranger’s Pantry Holiday Pet Food Drive

12/02/2013

Today marks the beginning of the Fayetteville Public Library’s Ranger’s Pantry Holiday Pet Food Drive.  Ranger’s Pantry helps keep Fayetteville families and their pets together by providing pet food on a limited basis to prevent struggling families from having to surrender their pets because they cannot afford to feed them.  Donated dry or canned food may be dropped off at the Christmas Tree near the Children’s Desk in the library.

Since May of 2010, Ranger’s Pantry has provided over 75,000 pounds of food for over 2,500 cats and dogs in the City of Fayetteville.  This could not have been accomplished without the massive amount of help received from loyal supporters in the community. Many pets have been able to stay with their families instead of being surrendered.  Please remember that we are always in need of more pet food or cash donations to continue assisting the pets of Fayetteville.

Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to City of Fayetteville Community Services, 113 W Mountain, Fayetteville AR 72701. Checks should be made out to 'City of Fayetteville', please put "Ranger’s Pantry" on the memo line. One hundred percent of all cash donations are used to purchase pet food for the pantry. Many thanks to All Around Storage at 2650 City Lake Road for providing a home to Ranger’s Pantry.
