Terri Raskiewicz is the City’s New Internal Auditor

Terri Raskiewicz is the City’s new Internal Auditor.  We welcome Terri to the City of Fayetteville team.  Terri has 20 years of accounting experience, which includes both internal and external auditing experience.  Terri remarked, "I’m excited about the opportunity to serve Fayetteville in this role.  I look forward to identifying areas in need of improvement and applying vision to develop and execute effective action plans."  Her advanced education and training in auditing includes certification as a fraud examiner and certified public accountant (inactive status).  Since 1992, Terri has worked at both government and private entities performing all facets of accounting, which includes a background in manufacturing and construction accounting. 

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1995 from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas; and she received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas in 2005.  Terri is a supporter of the arts and enjoys volunteering, including work at Helping Hands in Bentonville and the Glass Slipper Prom Project in Fayetteville.

The scope of Internal Audit encompasses the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the City’s governance, risk management process, system of internal control structure, and the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities to achieve the organization's stated goals and objectives
