Town Hall Meeting for 2nd Quarter

Mayor Lioneld Jordan will be holding the Second Quarter Town Hall Meeting on June 30, 2009. The event will be in the Sequoyah United Methodist Church Parish Hall at 1910 N. Old Wire Road from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This is an opportunity for citizens to learn more about city programs and ask questions about the programs and policies of city government.

Mayor Jordan will be joined by city staff to discuss topics including current City finances, Transportation Improvement Bond Program update, Parks and Recreation programs such as the dog park, community gardens, and free recreational programs, Code Enforcement, volunteer programs, and the upcoming 2010 Census.

The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be devoted exclusively to questions from the audience.
