We Can! Campaign

With a Can, We Can!

There is a growing demand for food bank services in Northwest Arkansas as a result of decreasing donations and an increasing population needing assistance. That is why Mayor Jordan is encouraging Fayetteville residents to donate canned goods to local food banks - through a sustaining food drive - “With a Can We Can!”  That’s why we are calling this the We Can! food drive.

Sustaining our local food banks is really very simple and affordable. Each time you go to the grocery store buy 1 or 2 cans for the food banks. Then drop those cans off at the Mayor’s table at the Farmer’s Market, at your area fire station on the first weekend each month, or any of the other locations list below. There will be several drop-off locations throughout town including City Hall and each of the Fayetteville Fire Stations. Residents can drop their donations at any of the Fayetteville locations listed below.

Make sure you sign-up for the We Can! campaign on the city website or at the Mayor’s table at the Farmer’s Market on the Square. Each time you drop off items at one of these locations get your We Can! card marked. Each full card is your entry into the quarterly drawing for prizes donated by local businesses.
