Downtown Fayetteville offers a variety of parking locations and options in the Downtown Square and Dickson Street areas.
2-hour free parking is available on the Downtown Square, Dickson Street, and in Lot 55 one block north of theWalton Arts Center. 2-hour parking allows patrons to park for up to 2 consecutive hours within a 4-hour time period. You must leave the lot, Square, or Dickson Street on or before 2 hours has passed from the time you first arrived. You may not return to the same lot, Square, or Dickston Street until 4 hours have passed from the time you first arrived. This ensures that these spaces are made available for customers visiting the area businesses and restaurants.
Short-term parking is metered parking for up to 2 hours at a rate of 25 cents per hour.
Long-term parking is metered parking for up to 10 hours at a rate of 25 cents per 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Municipal Parking Deck at the Cosmopolitan Hotel allows visitors and downtown employees to park at any time for a small fee. You must pay $ 4.00 for covered parking on the first level, and $ 3.00 to park on the third level (pay as you enter for both levels). The second level is reserved for parking program participants.
Town Center Parking Deck allows visitors and downtown employees to park at any time for a $3.00 entry fee. Tokens may also be purchased in advance for as little as $1.00 per token (one token per entry required). You may also obtain a parking card for unlimited entry into the deck through the parking program.
Free parking areas are available in 3 lots provided by the City in the Downtown Square and Dickson Street areas. The lot located on the west side of the Walton Arts Center has 298 parking spaces. The lot located on the south side of the Walton Arts Center at West and Spring Streets has 65 parking spaces. The lot located on the east side of the Walton Arts Center on School Avenue has 58 parking spaces.
Downtown employees may park at any of the 3 free parking lots, or they may participate in any of the City's parking programs for a monthly fee. There are over 2,000 spaces available through these parking programs and are available on demand and on a wait-list basis.
