I have a Hang Tag and parked at a red-top meter but still received a ticket. Why?

Answer

One reason would be that the Hang Tag was not displayed properly.  The Hang Tags must be displayed from the rear view mirror of the vehicle so that the sticker is clearly visible from the front  of the vehicle.  If the Hang Tag is lying on the dashboard, it is not displayed properly.
