Fayetteville Dog Parks

Upcoming Dog Park

The dog park is currrently under construction. Construction is anticipated to complete in August 2010.

Procter and Gamble donated $30,000 towards the development of a new dog park in Fayetteville to be constructed  at Bryce Davis Park located at 1595 N. Dartmouth Ave. The new dog park will be part of the overall masterplan for the park.

The dog park will be approximately 3 acres and divided into areas for large dogs and small dogs. The park will include a pavilion with picnic tables for dog owners and dog waste pick up supplies. Rules for using the park will be posted and will require users to remove dog waste form the area.

Existing Dog Parks

Existing off leash areas are located at the Animal Services facility located at 1640 S. Armstrong, and Lake Wilson.

It is the intent of Parks and Recreation to build dog parks throughout the city to allow more areas where dog owners can safely allow their pets off leash.
