Garden Plot Grant Information

The Garden Plot Grant is made available by the Parks and Recreation Department and is directed towards individuals and families who are in a lower economic bracket and could find it challenging to otherwise secure funds for garden plot rental fees.  Several plots are reserved for the Garden Plot Grant Program at the Jefferson and Walker gardens. To participate in the Garden Plot Grant you must attend Spring Registration.

Simple grant applications will be available on Spring Registration Day only.  Spring Registration will be held on March 2, 2014 at the Senior Activity and Wellness Center.  The Center is located at 945 S. College Avenue in Fayetteville.  The applications will be reviewed and determined on that date.

You can apply for this grant if:

  •  You are the only member of a household and your income is less than $12,250 per year.
  •  You live in a household with two or more family members residing at this address and the combined income is less than $15,750 per year.
