Summer Concert Calendar

May 28th: Jason D Williams

Enthusiastic, Reckless, Stormy, Rock and Roll in its natural state. This formal Fayetteville resident makes his return to Gulley Park for what promises to be one of the most exciting evenings of entertainment you’ve ever seen. The Beacon Journal dubbed him as “The world’s greatest piano player.” From Classical to Rockabilly to Country to Jazz and on to Rock & Roll, Jason D’s style is difficult to describe, but always entertaining. Jason is on the road over 200 days a year and has been on MTV, VH1, Live! on ABC, the Regis and Kathy Lee Show, Crook and Chase, Nashville Now, Entertainment Tonight, and others. Jason D Williams is sure to kick off this year's concert series with a bang.

June 4th: Nathan Hamilton

Out of Austin, Texas Nathan Hamilton first came to musical notoriety by winning the New Folk Category at the nationally-renowned Kerrville Folk Festival. Hamilton’s original music moves easily between the realms of folk, texas roots country, and indie rock, and his band No Deal has received rave reviews. His latest release Six Black Birds was selected as a top 3 finalist in the Indie Acoustic Project's "Best CDs of 2007" awards in the Alt Country category. With five award-winning albums to his credit, along with  multiple tours of Europe including the Netherlands and the UK, you won't want to miss Nathan Hamilton's first appearance at Gulley Park.

June 18th: The Jack Mitchell Band

After many years as a side man, playing drums for some of the best bands and singers in America, Jack Mitchell organized his own 15 member big band in order to play solid danceable and easy to listen to music. Mitchell has twice taken big bands to Washington DC to play for President Clinton’s Presidential Inaugural Balls. Comprised of saxes, trombones, trumpets, bass, piano, drums, and vocalist, The Jack Mitchell Band presents a wide range of music from beautiful ballads to waltzes, Latin and swing.  This band has also won the Ozark Music Award as best swing/jazz band.

July 9th: Contagious

Covering a wide variety of music from Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, and Bon Jovi to Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, and Michael Jackson, Contagious lives up to its name and infects listeners with their versatile sound. Contagious is a four piece band from Northwest Arkansas. The band has been around for a year and a half and has played numerous venues.  The current line-up consists of John Furner (guitar), David Snell (bass), Jason Dewitt (vocals, guitar), and Jim Edmiaston (drums).  All members are professionals in the area and have been playing musically most of their lives.

July 23rd: Full House

Based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Full House specializes in high-energy party/dance music, playing soul, rock, and funk. The 10-piece band performs songs by classic groups such as Chicago, Santana, and artists from Motown and Stax, as well as more recent artists. While performing with those bands, members opened for several major acts, including ZZ Top, The Guess Who, Styx, Badfinger, and Three Dog Night.
