Gates Open at 7:30, Movie begins at approximately 8:30
Fayetteville Parks and Recreation is excited to host the second and final "Dive In Movie" at Wilson Park Swimming Pool on Friday, July 25. On this night, "Surfs Up" will be shown in an event that is free to the public. Gates open at 7:30, with the movie beginning at approximately 8:30. This event is made possible by a very generous donation from the Fayetteville Firefighters Association.
This comedy is based on the revelation that surfing was actually invented by penguins. A documentary crew takes the audiences behind the scenes at the annual Penguin World Surfing Championships and talks to the newest star, Cody Maverick. He starts off as a cocky rookie, but soon discovers that a true winner isn't always the one who comes in first.
