Parks and Recreation to Host Public Meeting about Public Park Land on Fairlane Drive

Public Meeting on June 18 at 5:30 pm

Fayetteville Parks and Recreation invites all citizens and interested parties to a public meeting at the public park land located at 1582 Fairlane Drive on Wednesday, June 18 2008 at 5:30pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to identify potential parks and recreation needs and priorities for 2009. Following the identification process, Parks and Recreation Staff will select those priorities to be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism for a matching grant application.

Ethnic minorities, persons with special needs, elderly persons over 55, youth and special interest groups are encouraged to attend and participate.

In case of inclement weather, the meeting will take place at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center at 240 E Rock Street.
