Construction Delayed at Greathouse Park

Sewer line construction continues along Town Branch and Cato Springs Branch in Greathouse Park. The sewer line construction within the open park area is temporarily delayed until a large gas line can be relocated by Arkansas Western Gas Company. The sewer line construction within the park area is expected to resume after January 1, 2010. Completion of the work in the park is tentatively scheduled for early February 2010.

 Greathouse Park is not closed during construction; however, the parking lot is temporarily closed. Safety of park patrons is always of utmost importance. Safety fencing and signage are posted around the work areas, as well as around stockpiled materials and equipment. Disturbed areas will be restored and re-seeded immediately upon completion of the construction. Thank you for your patience while the City works on this important project.
