Park History

This 15.45 acre park was acquired in 1995 through the Park Land Dedication Ordinance. Developed into a four-plex softball complex with 300-ft. fields, the facility hosts games for girls, adults and tournaments. By hosting such events as the Gary Hampton Youth National Invitation Tournament, the Don Glass Adult National Invitational Tournaments, the 8 and Under Slow Pitch World Series and the 35 and Older World Tournament, this facility is credited to bringing approximately three million dollars to the Fayetteville Economy since opening in 2000.
