Park History
Greathouse Park was a gift to the City of Fayetteville from Jack and Bessie Greathouse in 1954. Greathouse's six acres of land is in the floodway of the Town Branch River and located south of 15th Street on Price Avenue. The park was originally named Oberman Park but renamed in 1974 to recognize the donors.
