Gulley Park
Where is this Park?
This park is located at 1850 E. Township Street.
Park History
Located between Township Street and Old Wire Road, Gulley Park quickly became one of Fayetteville's most utilized parks. This 27-acre park includes several natural features such as trees, Niokaska Creek, open fields, and a pond. Purchased from the Fred Gulley Family in 1988, the park has evolved into a highly used community park.
Many civic organizations have made contributions to the development of Gulley Park such as Northside Rotary Club, the Civitan and Downtown Rotary Club, Butterfield Home Extension, Woodland Junior High School, SWEPCO and NeighborWoods, the volunteer tree-planting project of Friends for Fayetteville.
