Parks

Fayetteville Parks are for Fun!

Fayetteville's parks are as unique and as diverse as any Parks System in the central part of the country. The 3,350 acres of land, 60 parks, 17 miles of trails, 3 lakes, 43 athletic fields/courts, a swimming pool, BMX Track and a Skate park, provides something for everyone.

Fayetteville Parks are designed with you and your family in mind. You will find parks to fit every need, and equipped for all sorts of activities: picnicking, boating, swimming, tennis, soccer, softball, baseball and more. And you can enjoy all that Fayetteville Parks has to offer, free of charge! Fayetteville parks are the perfect place for public events such as our Summer Concert Series. Parks are also ideal for private gatherings, like birthday parties, holiday outings and family reunions.

In partnership with the Fayetteville City Council, Fayetteville Parks and Recreation contributes to many city recreation programs, such as the Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club, the Senior Adult Center and league sports. It is all part of our commitment to improving the quality of life for the people of Fayetteville, now and forever!

Adopt a Park / Adopt a Trail

Adopt-A-Park and Adopt-A-Trails programs are part of our volunteer program that is essential to Fayetteville Parks and Recreation. Every organization that choses to adopt a park or a trail will have their name installed at the adopted facility. For more information regarding this program, please download the Volunteer Handbook below.
