Park History

Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Eason, Jr. donated two acres for a city neighborhood park on December 4, 1975. Since its origin, there have been two land additions to the park. An additional .21 acres adjacent to the park was donated in 1980, and a park land dedication of .3 acres occurred in 1992. This 4-acre park located along Mud Creek, offers both passive and active recreation facilities.
