Adult Softball

Every year, approximately 2,600 people participate in Adult Slow Pitch Softball in Fayetteville. Parks and Recreation offers three seasons. There is a Spring, Summer and Fall Season. During each of these seasons, leagues are available for Men, Women, Coed, Church, and Corporate Teams.

The Spring Season begins April 6 and lasts through early June. This includes a fifteen game schedule and a post season tournament. The team entry fee is $425. Registration for this league runs from February 9 through March 25. This league can accommodate 72 teams.

The Summer Season begins on June 29 and concludes on August 3. This season plays a ten game schedule, plus a post season tournament. The league fee for this season is $335 per team. Registration for this program begins April 27 and continues through June 3. This league can accommodate 84 teams.

The Fall Season begins August 17 and lasts until October 5. This season includes a fifteen game schedule, plus a post season tournament. The league fee for this season is $425 per team. Registration for this league runs from June 29 through July 29. This league can accommodate 84 teams.

Teams play one night per week, in a double header format. This makes only a one night per week commitment necessary. Competitive and recreational leagues are available. Games are played Monday through Thursday. Friday nights are rarely used. When they are used, it is usually only for make up games. Space is limited, so registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

If one night per week is not enough for you, then you can play on more than one team. A player can legally play on one open team, one coed team, one church team and one corporate team. Leagues and game times are organized where a person could potentially play in all four leagues in the same season.

Please see forms listed below for league rules and roster addition forms. After receiving a large increase in complaints about participants playing on multiple teams, there will be a strict enforcement of eligibility rules this season. Please see the attached forms for explanation.
