Parks Soccer - Come Join the Fun!

Fayetteville Parks and Recreation has an AWESOME youth soccer program. This Good Sports! Recreational Program emphasizes an environment that is fun for all ages and skill levels. Every child is guaranteed to play at least half of each game, while learning the basics of soccer and good sportsmanship.

For more information about this program, continue reading on this site, or email our staff.

Our recreational soccer program is for girls and boys ages three to sixteen. This program is part of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation’s GoodSports recreational programs where fun is emphasized! Registration will be accepted for the fall season only OR both the fall and spring seasons. A discount rate is given to encourage registration for the full year (both fall and spring seasons). The season begins with two or three practices, followed by playing two games per week. Any additional practices may be determined by the coach. All players registering with Fayetteville Parks and Recreation are randomly assigned to a team based on age. Volunteer coaches are screened and trained by Parks and Recreation. Players who sign up for both the fall and spring season will remain on the same team for both seasons.

                                                      SPRING SOCCER INFORMATION
               SPRING SEASON: February 27, 2010 - April 17, 2010. (No Soccer: March 20-27)

First Touch Participants:

This program is an introduction to soccer for children born between August 2005 - July 2006. Children in First Touch will play Mondays and Saturdays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, or Thursdays and Saturdays depending on the group you are assigned to. First Touch will begin on March 6, 2010.

U5-U12 Participants:

Practices and games are held on Saturday mornings and one night during the week. Game times are based on age group. The breakdown of age groups can be found at the bottom of this page. Your team assignment can be found on the list below. U5 and U6 Boys are divided into two leagues, Red and Blue. If your team name R-Galaxy, that means red league. If your team is B-Union, that means blue league.

U14-16 Participants:

Because our oldest league plays teams from all over Northwest Arkansas, the season starts later than our younger age groups. Your coach will provide a schedule when he/she contacts you. Games are typically played one night a week and on Saturdays. Your team assignment can be found on the list below.
