Trail Description

This first section of Scull Creek Trail, completed in December of 2006 extends 0.7 miles from Gordon Long Park north to the Fulbright Expressway.  The newest section, completed March of 2008 begins at Poplar Street and follows Scull Creek north through the U of A Agri Farm to the west side of Gregg Street where it will soon connect to Gordon Long Park.  The 12 foot wide trail is constructed of concrete and includes lighting for increased safety and extended use in the evenings. When complete, Scull Creek Trail will be 4.2 miles long and will connect Mud Creek Trail south across Dickson Street to meet Frisco Trail.  Scull Creek is currently the highest priority trail for the City of Fayetteville and construction is on going with a completion goal by October of 2008.
