Police investigate fatality accident


            Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the department is investigating a fatality accident on Borick Drive. 

            On Sunday, March 31, 2013 at approximately 1:42 P.M., Fayetteville Police officers responded to Borick Drive near Armstrong Avenue, in reference to a report of a one vehicle accident.       

             James McQuilliam, age 46 of Springdale was westbound on Borick  Drive at a high rate of speed, when his 2006 Chevy Malibu hit a body of standing water in the roadway.   His vehicle left the roadway and collided with a utility pole on the north side of the road.   McQuilliam was unrestrained and ejected from the vehicle.  McQuilliam was pronounced dead at the scene.
