FAYETTEVILLE POLICE ANNOUNCE ARRESTS IN MULTIPLE VEHICLE BREAKINS.

11/30/2009

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of three adults and one juvenile for breaking or entering to multiple vehicles.

Over the last several days, the Fayetteville Police Department received complaints of vehicle break-ins in the Magnolia Crossing Subdivision located at Martin Luther King and Camellia Lane.  Through the course of investigation, leads were developed and police arrested Justin BERTALOTTO, white male, age 19 of Rogers, Micah BUTTERFLY, white male, age 20 of Prairie Grove, William MARTIN, white male, age 19 of Fayetteville and one juvenile male.  All were arrested for Breaking or Entering and Theft of Property.

It was learned during the investigation the suspects were seeking unlocked vehicles as primary targets.  The suspects entered multiple unlocked vehicles many of which were not reported to the police.  The police department would like to take this opportunity to remind citizens to minimize their risk of theft by locking their vehicle doors and not leaving valuables in plain sight.  Victims are also encouraged to report break-ins to the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
