TWO ARRESTED FOR DRUGS AND FIREARMS

     Today, Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor, announced the arrest of a Fayetteville man and Garfield woman for possession of methamphetamine and weapons.

     On Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Washington County Sheriff’s office arrested a man and woman for possessing .8 grams of methamphetamine and three weapons. Washington County Deputies had gone to the address, 4404 Flagstick to serve a writ of assistance and noticed drug paraphernalia and notified detectives with the Drug Task Force.

     Arrested was David B. JOHNSON, white male, age 38 of Fayetteville.  Johnson was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.

     Lisa M. MORRIS, white female, age 24 of Garfield.  Morris was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.

     The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, University of Arkansas, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. 

     This investigation is continuing.
