ROGERS MAN ARRESTED FOR DELIVERY OF MARIJUANA

Today, Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor, announced the arrest of a Rogers man for possession with intent to deliver and delivery of a controlled substance (marijuana).
Members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force conducted an undercover operation involving the suspect and the purchase of two pounds of marijuana on 1/4/2010. On January 19th, 2010, the suspect was located, a traffic stop was initiated and the suspect was arrested by Fayetteville patrol officers. Another two pounds of Marijuana was seized at this time.
Arrested was Chad E. WALTERS, white male, age 34 of Rogers. Walters was arrested for Illegal Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana) and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.
The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, University of Arkansas, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
This investigation is continuing.
