DRUG WARRANT LEADS TO ARREST AND DRUG SEIZURE
Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of one subject for drug charges.
On March 25th, 2010, members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, and members of the Fayetteville Police Department executed a search warrant at 2945 N. Fiesta Drive, Fayetteville, in reference to an ongoing joint investigation with the Arkansas State Police and the Bentonville Police Department. During the search of the residence, approximately 4 pounds of marijuana was seized along with 123 hydrocodone pills.
Sherman Blake Caldwell, white male, age 32 of Fayetteville was arrested on March 26th, 2010, after surrendering himself to the Fayetteville Police Department. Caldwell is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Hydrocodone) and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
