LOCAL MAN ARRESTED FOR ECSTASY
Today, Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor, announced the arrest of a Fayetteville man for delivery of ecstasy.
For the past two months, members of the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force have conducted an undercover operation involving the suspect and the purchase of ecstasy pills. On December 19th, 2009, the suspect was located on a traffic stop and arrested by patrol officers.
Arrested was Gerald Lewis SANDERS, black male, age 28 of Fayetteville. Sanders was arrested for three counts of Illegal Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Ecstasy).
The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of Fayetteville, Springdale, University of Arkansas, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs, Elkins Police Departments and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
This investigation is continuing.
