Fayetteville Police Arrest Local Man Following Stabbing

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of a local man following an altercation on Keystone Crossing.
On Friday, February 27, 2009, at approximately 3:11 P.M., officers of the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the White Oak Station at 2584 North Gregg Avenue to investigate a reported stabbing. When officers arrived, they located a twenty year old man with lacerations to his neck and abdomen. The victim told officers he was stabbed by the suspect during a family-related altercation. The victim refused medical treatment for his injuries.
The investigation led officers to 107 Lapis Lane #12, Fayetteville, where they located the suspect. Police arrested George Espinoza, white male, age 26, of 107 Lapis Lane #12, for Battery 1st Degree.
