Today, Fayetteville Police Chief and Chairman of the Fourth

Judicial District Drug Task Force Greg Tabor announced the recent arrest

of two men for possession of drugs.

     On February 10, 2012, detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Fayetteville Resident Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration were conducting surveillance of a known marijuana distribution house at 2986 Old Farmington Road in Fayetteville.  Detectives followed two vehicles from that location and the vehicles were later stopped by Fayetteville police officers.   

     One vehicle, driven by Monte Gene Reimann, white male, age 59, of Great Falls, Montana, was found to contain approximately 10 pounds of marijuana, 33 Adderall pills, US Currency and drug paraphernalia. 

     The second vehicle was driven by Caleb Daniel Evans, white male, age 22, of 2986 Old Farmington Road. A search of Evans’ house uncovered approximately 377 grams of marijuana, approximately 200 grams of hashish, two firearms, US Currency and drug paraphernalia. 

     Both men were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Purpose to Deliver (marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Evans was charged additionally with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.  Reimann was charged additionally with Possession with the Purpose to Deliver (Adderall).

     There will be a viewing of the evidence today, February 13th, at 1:00pm, at the Fayetteville Police Department briefing room.

           The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force is comprised of

Fayetteville, Springdale, University of Arkansas, Prairie Grove,

Lincoln, Farmington, West Fork, Greenland, Johnson, Elm Springs,

Elkins Police Departments and the Washington and Madison County Sheriffs’ Offices.

     This investigation is continuing.
