Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today that the Fayetteville Police Department is investigating a shooting in South Fayetteville.  

On May 24, 2012, Fayetteville Police were called to the intersection of Curtis and Fairlane for a shooting.   Lee Charles Brown Jr., black-male, age 37 of Fayetteville was located in the yard of 956 S. Curtis with a possible gunshot wound to the back.   Brown was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center where he is being treated for his wounds.  

Fayetteville Police detectives are aggressively investigating this incident and have identified Kasey JONES, black-male, age 34 of Fayetteville as a person of interest.   Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jones or information about the shooting is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
