Fayetteville Police Make Arrests For Recent Robberies.

On Monday, June 9, 2008, Fayetteville Police arrested Martez Deunta Butler, black male age 18, of Fayetteville, for Robbery, Engaging in Violent Criminal Group Activity, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, and Theft by Receiving.  Butler was involved in the robbery of a man walking in the area of Center and Hill during the early morning hours of Saturday, May 31, 2008. On Monday, June 9, 2008, Fayetteville Police arrested Robert Stanley Finks, black male age 21, of Fayetteville, for two counts of Robbery, Engaging in Violent Criminal Group Activity, Breaking or Entering (Vehicle), Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, and Theft by Receiving.  Finks was involved in the robberies of a man walking near Meadow and Center Streets and a woman walking in the parking lot of 2100 North Leverett, both in the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 4, 2008.  On Monday, June 9, 2008, Fayetteville Police arrested Britany Elaine Moreton,  white female age 18, of Fayetteville, for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft by Receiving.  Moreton made purchases with a credit card she knew to be stolen.  The credit card was taken from the robbery victim at Center and Hill on May 31, 2008 and used shortly after the robbery at Wal-Mart. On Tuesday, June 10, 2008, Fayetteville Police arrested Keith Dewayne Matthews, black male age 18, of Fayetteville, for three counts of Robbery, Engaging in Violent Criminal Gang Activity, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Theft by Receiving and three counts of Breaking or Entering (Vehicles.)  He was involved in the robbery at Center and Hill Streets on May 31, 2008, the robbery at Meadow and Center Streets on June 4, 2008, and the robbery at 2100 North Leverett on June 4, 2008. The Fayetteville Police Department is seeking the help of the public in locating a man who was involved in similar recent robberies in Fayetteville.  Darrell O. Green, black male age 23, of Fordyce, Arkansas, is wanted for Robbery.  He drives a silver Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am with dark tinted windows and a rear spoiler.  Policeconsider Green to be armed and dangerous.  He was involved in a robbery of a woman walking in the area of Leverett and Maple during the early morning hours Saturday, June 7, 2008.  Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Green should call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.  The investigation is ongoing.
