Fayetteville Police Announce New Warrant Link on Website

11/19/2009

Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced a new On-line link to assist citizens with information about misdemeanor warrants.

The service, located within the Fayetteville Police Website at http://police.accessfayetteville.org, provides updated information concerning active misdemeanor warrants with the Fayetteville Police Department.

The warrant service is free to the public and allows citizens to search active warrants.  Citizens will be able to search the entire list, the most recent warrants updated every two weeks or you can search by name.  The information you can receive will consist of the name, date of birth, warrant type and warrant issue date. This service will prove particularly valuable to those in the community who want to help by informing the Police Department the whereabouts of wanted persons.

Do not attempt to make an arrest based on this warrant information; only police officers can arrest a person for an outstanding warrant of arrest. If you have information, which may lead to the arrest of, individuals named in these warrants, please call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555.
