FAYETTEVILLE POLICE ARREST FOUR SUBJECTS FOR THEFT BY RECEIVING

            Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor announced today the arrest of four people in connection with an attempted forgery and several vehicle break-ins. 

            On July 10, 2012, Fayetteville Police responded to the Family Dollar store at 1925 N. College to investigate a woman attempting to make a purchase with a stolen check.  When officers arrived at the business, the suspect had left but an employee was able to get the suspect’s vehicle description.   A short time later, officers located a vehicle matching the description and stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation.  During the course of the investigation, officers were able to locate property from several vehicle break-ins.

Officers arrested Amie BIRDSONG, white-female, age 32 of Choctaw, OK for Attempted Forgery 2nd Degree and four counts of Theft by Receiving.   Also arrested was Jordan MIMS, black-male, age 20 of Oklahoma City, OK, Lorenz MIMS, black-female, age 19 of Hugo, Oklahoma and Sheila GRAVES, black-female, age 40 of Oklahoma City, OK for four counts of Theft by Receiving.
